Elevated Wishes
Program Type: Senior dream fulfillment program
Overview: In partnership with Wish of a Lifetime from AARP, the Elevated Wishes program empowers seniors to pursue once-in-a-lifetime experiences designed to create joy, strengthen connections, and renew purpose.
- Focus: Fulfilling deeply cherished dreams rooted in a senior's rich life and compelling story
- Types of Wishes: Can include reaching recovery goals, re-experiencing important life events, or crossing items off bucket lists
- Partnership: Vital Life Foundation and Wish of a Lifetime from AARP
- Community Involvement: Seeks volunteers to be "boots on the ground" to support wishes being fulfilled in local communities
Program Details
- Sandy's Wish (2025): Visit to Universal Studios Hollywood—included Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Warner Bros. Studio tour, themed attractions, and commemorative photos
- Beth's Wish (2024): Scuba diving in Honduras with support from Scuba Access for Everyone (S.A.F.E.)
