Apply for a Grant from the JTB Foundation We’re pleased to be continuing our grant program for nonprofit organizations to acquire AED’s, provide CPR training and help advance research related to sudden cardiac arrest and sudden death. John Taylor Babbitt Foundation The John Taylor Babbitt Foundation (“JTB Foundation”) is dedicated to the prevention of sudden cardiac death, including in diverse populations (student athletes, people with disabilities, vulnerable groups, etc.). The JTB Foundation may periodically make grants available to non-profit and for-profit organizations for their use in preventing sudden cardiac death through the purchase of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs), CPR/AED training, education and awareness programs, or related activities. There is no specific limit on grant amounts. Applications should include a rough estimate of the amount of funds they’ll need, as well as any commitments they propose to make to their selected program, such as providing matching funds, staff time, or other program commitments. (For example, if an organization requests funding for a portable AED to be available at certain events, then the organization should describe their specific procedures for ensuring that the AED will be brought to and available at those events.)
