John E. Foster Engineering Scholarship Fund Grant

The John E. Foster Engineering Scholarship Fund was established by engineering firms involved in the Clean Water Columbus Project to honor John E. Foster, a pioneering African-American engineer and owner of the largest minority-owned engineering firm in Columbus. The scholarship supports Columbus City Schools seniors pursuing engineering degrees at The Ohio State University or Columbus State Community College. Eligible applicants must be graduating seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale), reflecting the fund’s commitment to advancing diversity and excellence in the engineering profession.

Eligibility

Candidates must be seniors graduating from a Columbus City Schools High School.Candidates must be pursuing an engineering degree at The Ohio State University or Columbus State Community College.Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
