Chippewa County Community Foundation The Chippewa County Community Foundation (CCCF) serves as a community leader to improve the quality of life by building permanent endowments, promoting effective grantmaking, fostering philanthropy, stimulating community dialogue, and helping donors achieve their charitable goals. Established in 1994, the Chippewa County Community Foundation is one of more than 700 community foundations in the United States today. We serve Chippewa County, offering people a variety of ways to touch our community through philanthropic giving. John C. Frybarger Memorial Scholarship Established in memory of John C. Frybarger. This fund provides scholarships to Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and/or Transgender students from Chippewa, Mackinaw or Luce County that are pursuing a career in Culinary Trades, Dietitian/Nutrition, Journalism, Literature, Horticulture or attending a vocational or trade school. In the event there is not a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender student, the scholarship may be given to a student that is pursuing one of the aforementioned areas of study. Financial need may be considered.Eligibility
