Overview

The John and Marlene Heslip Architecture Student Scholarship Program supports full-time undergraduate and graduate architecture students at accredited institutions in the U.S. and Canada. With a focus on innovative design using manufactured concrete masonry and hardscape products, the program awards a $5,000 scholarship each academic year. The scholarship aims to advance the education of future architects while fostering a commitment to excellence and diversity in the field.

To date, the Foundation has invested more than $2M in grants to industry research for codes and standards, educational opportunities for architectural and engineering students, and workforce development programs.
John and Marlene Heslip Scholarship Program
The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) Education and Research Foundation has established the John and Marlene Heslip Scholarship Program for full-time students engaged in the pursuit of an architecture undergraduate or graduate degree at eligible colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. The purpose of this program is to support students pursuing a degree in the architectural field while encouraging innovative design, application, or utilization of manufactured concrete masonry and hardscape products in the built environment.
Awards
Typically one $5,000 scholarship will be awarded for each academic year. Awards are not renewable and will typically be awarded on a one time basis.
