John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship

Sponsor: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) through the National Sea Grant College Program

Program Description: A prestigious, paid one-year fellowship for graduate and post-graduate students interested in ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources and national policy decisions that impact them.

Geographic Scope: United States (Fellows placed in Washington, D.C. area)

Eligibility:

  • Graduate or post-graduate students

  • Enrolled in marine-related field at accredited institution of higher education

  • Interested in ocean, coastal, or Great Lakes resources and policy
  • Fellowship Benefits:

  • Paid one-year fellowship

  • Placement in legislative or executive branch offices in Washington, D.C. area
