Organization: National Airedale Rescue, Inc.

Purpose: Assist with expenses of Senior Airedales in rescue and, in special cases, Senior Airedales that have been adopted.

Senior Airedale Definition: Rescued at age 8 or older

Funding Focus

• Medical care for senior Airedales (aged 10+)
• Special medications and supplements
• Dental care
• Minor surgeries and special needs items
• Support for dogs in long-term foster care situations
• Assistance for adoptive homes lacking means for necessary medical procedures

• United States and Canada

What They Fund

• Reimbursement vouchers for supplements, dental care, minor surgeries, and special needs items
• Medical expenses for senior Airedales (age 8+) in rescue or adopted
• Pre-approved veterinary procedures

What They Don't Fund

• Extreme intervention care (chemotherapy, blood transfusions) due to limited funds

Eligibility

• Senior Airedales (rescued at age 8 or older)
• Dogs in rescue, being fostered, or adopted
• Adoptive owners lacking financial means

Important Policies

• Fund is limited and no reimbursement is guaranteed
• All requests for reimbursement must be received within three months of expense date
• Pre-approval required for expensive treatments with veterinary estimate
• Invoices must be received within 30 days of approval or funds will be redistributed
• Fund not available as convenience for bill payment; owners should explore other sources (veterinarian payment plans, private fundraisers, loans, Care Credit)
• Follows ATCA Rescue & Adoption Committee guidelines
