Grace J. Sibley Memorial Fund

Purpose: Assist with expenses of Airedales in rescue that need specialized training beyond what foster homes can provide in order to become adoptable.

Background

Established to honor Grace J. Sibley and other rescued Airedales (Duchey, Chloe, and Celeste). Grace was a rescue dog who overcame behavioral challenges and earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. The fund recognizes that rescued dogs sometimes need extra support to reach their potential.

• Special needs training
• Behavioral training for rescue Airedales
• Training to address behavioral issues preventing adoption

Geographic Scope

• United States and Canada (through National Airedale Rescue network)

Eligibility

• Airedales in rescue that need more training than foster home can provide
• Dogs with behavioral issues that need to be addressed before adoption
