Overview

Elmore County Community Foundation Established in 1996, the Elmore County Community Foundation has distributed millions in grants to nonprofit organizations in Elmore County. Each year ECCF awards thousands in college scholarships through its multiple scholarship funds. ECCF is an affiliate of the Central Alabama Community Foundation. Representatives from Elmore County serve on the CACF Board of Directors. Our staff is here to answer any questions and make the most of your giving needs. Every year, ECCF awards grants to nonprofit projects and programs providing services in Elmore County. Jody Marie Sanford Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in memory of Jody Marie Sanford and provides awards to one boy and one girl from Wetumpka High School and one boy and one girl from any school in Elmore County and two additional students attending school in Elmore County. Eligible applicants will have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, have participated on a school-sponsored sports team (including cheerleading and band) and plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university. The scholarship is need based, and the applicant could be interviewed by the selection committee.
