Jewish Pride Fund

A Federation-supported giving circle committed to supporting the intersecting needs, values, and interests of the LGBTQ+ and Jewish communities.

• LGBTQ+ community support
• LGBTQ+ and Jewish intersection
• Organizations serving LGBTQ+ Jews, Arabs, and at-risk youth
• Community centers and support groups
• Advocacy and social services

Eligibility:

• Successful professionals
• Established mentors
• Proud Jews and engaged members
• Minimum donation to join: $1,800

Structure:

• Giving circle model with pooled resources
• All members have equal voting power regardless of donation amount
• Members collectively decide where funds are granted
• Members meet regularly to review grant applications

Key Achievements:

• Grown from 10 members (2018) to 27+ members
• Granted over $267,115 total to 18+ unique organizations
• Many grantees received funding multiple times

2022 Grantees: The GLBT Historical Society, Sephardic-Mizrahi Q Network, Tehila, Ma'avarim, Jerusalem Open House, Beit Dror

2021 Grantees: Beit Dror, Jewish Baby Network
