Jenni Crain Foundation Individual Grant Mission The Foundation preserves Jenni’s legacy by supporting transformative projects by artists, curators, and writers of any age at early or pivotal stages of their career. In honor of her memory, The Jenni Crain Foundation provides grants in two areas: Finishing funds toward the completion of a significant project ranging from an exhibition, arts publication, or work of art across disciplines and forms.
Support for original research which may include travel, accommodation, and any funds required for accessing or studying materials. In keeping with Jenni’s ethos and legacy, special consideration will be given to projects and practices that address feminist theory, architecture/design, and work authored by or exploring under-recognized artists. However, other proposed projects outside of the listed criteria may still be strong candidates and are encouraged to apply. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
