Scholarships Since 1984, the Community Foundation of Louisville has provided tens of millions of dollars in scholarships to support students with their educational goals. We assist donors in establishing scholarship funds so that a quality education can be available for everyone. Jefferson International Women's Scholarship The Jefferson International Women's Scholarship is designed to provide scholarship assistance in the form of grants to help defray college or university expenses of students attending Jefferson Community & Technical College ("JCTC") in Louisville, Kentucky.

Eligibility

Immigrants or refugees Resident of Jefferson County, Kentucky or its surrounding community Either finished the English as a Second Language ("ESL") program at JCTC, or completed sufficient courses in ESL at JCTC to establish their success as students, their determination to learn the English language, and their intent to continue with their studies Student must be attending any of the following local educational institutions for the academic year that the scholarship is awarded: the University of Louisville; Bellarmine University; Spalding University; Jefferson Community and Technical College; or Indiana University Southeast. Preference shall be given to applicants who are women Preference given to applicants who have the greatest demonstrated financial need
