Overview

Jefferson Community Foundation Fund This unrestricted fund is the backbone of the Jefferson Community Foundation. It’s designed so that its resources can be used to create the maximum community benefit. It represents the spirit of the Foundation. It’s the entire community giving back to secure the future. The JCF will consider grant requests from organizations serving the Jefferson Community that are in the range of $250 to $5,000. Community Grant applications will be evaluated by a small committee of Board Members and then brought to the entire JCF Board of Directors for final approval. The foundation board hopes to grow the Greater Jefferson Fund so that it can make more meaningful donations in future years. Your generosity to this fund allows helps community advocates support programs that create a stronger future for the Jefferson area. Grant Grant applicants must be not-for-profit, tax exempt and serve a public purpose. Applications are accepted twice a year. Purposes for which funds may be requested: Projects should be for educational, cultural, charitable or benevolent purposes that will benefit and improve the Jefferson School District community.Projects should be creative, innovative and address community needs.Projects are expected to be accomplished within a specific period of time, generally not more than one year
