Jeanne Marandon Scholarship Grant

The Jeanne Marandon Scholarship is available for American nationals attending an American university, with a focus on literature, arts, music, history, social sciences, and communication. Candidates must be fluent in French and become members of the SPFFA. Scholarship amounts range from $4,000 to $25,000, based on the level of study and duration. Eligible applicants include post-doctoral researchers, doctoral and graduate students, and undergraduates with a GPA above 3.00.

Candidates for a Jeanne Marandon Scholarship must be of American nationality, belong to an American university, become members of the SPFFA at the time of applying and have sufficient knowledge of the oral and written French language to allow them to pursue studies or research in France or Quebec. Applications in all disciplines will be considered, but priority will be given to candidates in literature, arts, music, history, social sciences and communication. The amount of the scholarship is fixed according to the level of work pursued and the duration of the planned stay.
Funding
The amount of the scholarship (from 4,000 to 25,000 US dollars ) is fixed in depending on the level of work carried out and the duration of the planned stay during the year.For researchers , the amount of the grant for a year university is 25,000 US dollars , paid in two times .For students working on their doctoral thesis , the amount of the scholarship for a year university is 25,000 US dollars , paid in two times .For second cycle students , the amount of the scholarship for a year university is 12,000 US dollars , paid in two times . For a stay of one semester , the amount of the scholarship is 6,000 US dollars in a single payment .For undergraduate students , the scholarship amount for a year university is 10,000 US dollars paid in two installments , for the semester of 5,000 US dollars and for the summer – 4,000 US dollars .
