Jason Hayes Foundation Grants

Overview

The Jason Hayes Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was established in loving memory of our son, brother, and cousin, Jason.

Our Mission

Our goal is to support and enrich the lives of children and young adults (ages 5-18) who have had experience early childhood trauma. This includes but is not limited to children who have:

* been the victims of physical and/or emotional abuse
* experienced chronic homelessness
* resided in a home with substance abuse
* been placed foster care system

Our Grant Program

Through our grant program, we support like-minded organizations that provide training, outreach, and education to parents, educators, and other professionals who work with and provide support for children and young adults who have suffered from early childhood trauma and abuse. Grants are focused on organizations who provide direct services to children who are or have been in the foster care system.

* To ensure our grants will, in-the-end, provide support for children and young adults who experienced early childhood trauma we base our decisions on the follow criteria:
* mission of the organization, program, or camp
* implementation of the organization, program, or camp’s mission
* AT THIS TIME, WE WILL ONLY SUPPORT THOSE ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE LOCATED IN MASSACHUSETTS OR BENEFIT MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS.
* Grants are only awarded to those who:
* advocate for the support of children/young adults who are victims of early childhood trauma and abuse
* promote and provide training and education for parents, school counselors, camp counselors and staff, siblings, educators, and therapists who work with “our population”
* provide direct services to children who are or have been in the foster care system
* provide direct services to young adults who are aging out of the foster care system
