• Nonprofit organizations based in eastern Massachusetts
• Operating budgets under $350,000
• IRS 501(c)(3) status or documented fiscal agent with 501(c)(3) status

• Civil and Human Rights Advocacy and Support
• Health Promotion and Accessibility for All
• Organizing and Support for Immigrants and Refugees
• LGBTQIA Community Support and Organizing
• Violence Prevention, Criminal Justice Reform and Family Outreach

Mission: The Lenny Zakim Fund seeks and supports people and organizations with tangible solutions that promise positive change in their communities. The fund is deeply committed to social justice and to the fundamental rights and dignity of all people.

Support Beyond Funding: Grantee partners receive support beyond financial grants, including leadership coaching, pro bono legal support, and access to experts to help develop skills and knowledge needed to continue their work.
