Scholarships Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation proudly manages over 200 individual scholarship funds, James & Dolores Selan Memorial Scholarship The James & Dolores Selan Memorial Scholarship is awarded to northern Chautauqua County students who are enrolled at Cornell University, Syracuse University, or SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry to study Forestry, Ornithology, and other environmentally-focused disciplines.

Eligibility

Student must be graduating from one of the following school districts: Brocton, Cassadaga Valley, Chautauqua Lake, Dunkirk, Forestville, Fredonia, Silver Creek, or Westfield.Studying Forestry, and/or Ornithology, and/or environmental related subjects. Accepted at Cornell University or Syracuse University. Demonstrated a positive attitude. Graduated in the top third of the class.
