Jacob A. Bradley Memorial Scholarship Overview The Bradley Family Foundation is offering a renewable, annual scholarship for a maximum of four years. For every year of financial support, students will also have access to individualized mentorship from an accomplished leader in their related field. Eligible applicants must be a U.S. citizen and graduating high school senior within Conroe Independent School District. Eligible applicants must have plans to attend a four year college or university full time in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree. Accepted fields of study include Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate strong character, leadership skills, integrity, and display an interest in mentorship. The Jacob A. Bradley scholarship was created in honor of The Bradley’s late son. Jacob passed away in 2019 at the age of 20. Jacob didn’t have the chance to finish his college education and make his mark on the world, but he was a very caring individual who would have wanted to see others succeed. He lived his life to the fullest, which is what the Bradley Family envisions for the scholarship recipient as well. Primary Evaluation Criteria for Eligible Applicants: Academic merit (GPA, Transcript) Demonstration of financial needThree letters of recommendationPersonal StatementExtracurricular achievements, awards, and honorsCommunity involvement and volunteer workEmployment historyCandidates must demonstrate strong character, leadership skills, integrity, and display an interest in mentorship Scholarship Renewal Process Overview Scholarship recipients are awarded scholarship funds each semester for a maximum of four academic years. Scholarship recipients do not need to reapply after their first year. Recipients must instead submit a Scholarship Renewal Form at the end of each academic year. Mentorship Overview Our carefully selected mentors are respected, accomplished leaders that span a variety of fields and interests. The mentor-mentee relationship draws on career experience and advice to support mentee growth and development in many ways, always in an encouraging nature. This relationship can help to serve as a bridge for students to connect school with the workplace. Bradley Family Foundation mentors and scholarship recipients are matched 1:1 based on an overlap of specific topical interests and compatibility. Formal mentoring relationships are intended to last the duration of financial support for each student.Eligibility

Students must also be active participants in their mentor-mentee relationship.Students who choose to transfer to another college or university remain eligible to receive the Jacob A.
