Jack Feldt Ambucs Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Jack Feldt Ambucs Memorial Scholarship, established in 1997, supports students in the Tri-Cities area pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. Funded by the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation, this scholarship prioritizes applicants demonstrating financial need. It considers college juniors and graduating high schoolers, reflecting the spirit of community and collaboration championed by Ambucs. Eligible candidates need to provide transcripts and additional required documents to complete their application.

Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. These criteria could include financial need, the school the applicant is attending, academic achievement, as well as personal or career goals. The Community Foundation has a rigorous internal selection process for each scholarship decision, and each applicant is reviewed in depth, and considered thoroughly.

Jack Feldt Ambucs Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 1997, in loving memory of Jack Feldt by his widow, Elizabeth Feldt, and the Ambucs. Jack was a member of Ambucs, a national organization dedicated to "inspiring mobility and independence." The spirit of Ambucs is embodied in the idea that great things can be accomplished when many people, working together, give a small amount of their time and talents. This scholarship bene its students in the Tri-Cities area who are planning to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.

Eligibility

Interest Area: Current College Financial Need: PriorityHigh School Senior Only: NoCriteria/Description: Awarded to students from the Tri-Cities who are in the field of Physical Therapy. First consideration is a college junior, then graduating high schoolers. Financial need is a consideration. In addition to the application, you’ll have to submit the following documents:A copy of your high school or college transcriptAny additional required documents for specific scholarships (like recommendation letters).Page 1 of the Student Aid Report with your Student Aid Index (SAI) included on the form.
