J. Smith Howell Foundation Scholarship Grant

The J. Smith Howell Foundation Scholarship offers financial assistance to deserving students, facilitated by the Center for Scholarship Administration, Inc. Eligible candidates include high school seniors, current college students, or graduates residing in Cherokee, Graham, or Clay Counties, North Carolina. The scholarship amount varies annually, and applicants are encouraged to demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. Finalists may also be invited for an interview, enhancing their chances for selection.

The J. Smith Howell Foundation Scholarship is providing scholarships for deserving students. The Center for Scholarship Administration, Inc. (CSA), a non-profit, independent organization is the facilitator of the scholarship fund.
The amount of scholarship may vary from year to year.

Eligibility

Applicants Must:Be high school seniors, current college students or graduate students.Be residents of Cherokee, Graham or Clay Counties, North Carolina.Plan to attend full-time (minimum of twelve credit hours/semester) an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, technical or vocational school within the State of North Carolina.Additional Desired Qualifications:Demonstrate financial need.Demonstrate academic achievement.Finalist may receive an invitation for an interview with the committee.
