J. J. Keller Foundation Small Grant

The J. J. Keller Foundation Small Grant aims to support nonprofit organizations that address the needs of vulnerable populations in Northeast Wisconsin. Grants of $25,000 or less are reviewed monthly, fostering collaboration and innovation to tackle complex social issues like poverty. While the foundation prioritizes established partnerships, it welcomes new applications year-round. Organizations engaging in illegal activities or conflicting missions will not be funded, ensuring a focused impact on the community.

Note: For a grant to be considered, please submit the application by the 10th of each month.
Grant Focus
Our funding focuses on addressing the needs of the most vulnerable people in our community by supporting nonprofit organizations and programs addressing vulnerable populations and meeting basic needs.
The J. J. Keller Foundation prides itself on our established relationships in our communities, allowing our team to lean-in, listen, and understand where funding can make the most impact. While we typically work with organizations with whom we’ve created such partnerships, we welcome new applications and connections all year round, and invite you to meet with us directly for further conversation.
Small Grants Monthly Review:
Grant applications requesting $25,000 or less are reviewed monthly by the Small Grants committee. A site tour and follow-up questions may be required following the request.

Eligibility

We accept grant requests from nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charities to positively impact lives in Northeast Wisconsin.

Ineligibility

The foundation will not fund:
J. Keller Foundation, Inc.
Individuals or scholarships
Contributions to educational institutions, including but not limited to:Public, parochial, or private K-12 schoolsFour-year colleges and universities, two-year junior and community colleges and graduate or professional schoolsVocational and technical institutes accredited by a recognized regional or professional accrediting agencyPreschools or daycare facilitiesGift Cards
Organizations engaging in illegal or discriminatory activity
