ISPN Meeting Attendance Scholarship – 2026

Purpose: To encourage younger people from low and lower-middle income countries to attend and present at the ISPN Annual Meeting.

Award Details: Scholarships of up to USD 2,000 to be used towards registration, travel, and accommodation for the ISPN 2026 Annual Meeting in Cairo, Egypt (7-11 October 2026). The amount awarded varies based on travel distance and time.

Payment Terms: The scholarship will only be transferred via bank transfer after you have attended the ISPN 2026 Annual Meeting and by the end of 2026. No payments will be made before the meeting.

Eligibility

• Membership: Applicants must be ISPN members (Student members are NOT eligible). If not yet a member, join ISPN before applying
• Geographic: Applicants must come from a low or lower-middle income country per World Bank classification
• Abstract Submission: Must submit an abstract for the meeting through the meeting website (https://ispnmeeting.org/submit-your-abstract/) that is accepted for presentation
• Professional Involvement: Must be professionally involved in neurosurgery for children
• Income Documentation: Will be requested to upload proof of annual income during application
• Prior Support: Preference given to those who have not previously received ISPN support
• Recommendation Letter: Must provide a written letter of recommendation from head of department or ISPN member
• Meeting Attendance: Must attend the meeting in person to receive the scholarship
