Overview

NOTE: ISF will start accepting online applications for the ISF Judicial Internship Scholarship at the beginning of March of each year. The ISF Judicial Internship Scholarship offers funding for law students who will intern with district, state, or federal judges. Eligible applicants who have been offered a judicial internship of at least 8-weeks can apply for this $3,000 stipend. A Pipeline Program The ISF Judicial Internship Scholarship is devoted to preparing law students to work in public interest law. Whether interning in Summer, Fall, or Spring semester, interns will gain real-world experience in the courtrooms and chambers of federal and state judges. Goal The ISF Judicial Internship Scholarship aims to expose American Muslim students to the privileges and responsibilities of working in a judge's chambers. The program helps law students build the skills needed to advance justice for Muslims in America.

Active member of the Muslim community Enrolled as a first-year or second-year law student at an accredited law school in the U.S. Received an offer for a judicial internship from a state or federal judge OR an ISF Law Scholarship recipient who is applying for a judicial internship through Just the Beginning A U.S. citizen, permanent resident of the United States or a DACA recipient.
