Isabel Foundation Grant

The Isabel Foundation Grant supports nonprofit organizations that promote the Christian Science faith. Founded by Isabel and C.S. Harding Mott, the foundation primarily funds initiatives such as camps, churches, and nursing facilities that align with these values. Eligible applicants must be U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations. Although the foundation appreciates the work of branch churches, they are currently unable to fund their projects. This grant represents a commitment to nurturing the Christian Science community.

Harding Mott, of Flint, Michigan, set up and funded the Isabel Foundation (IF) as a family foundation focused on grantmaking to nonprofit organizations that support the faith of Christian Science.
Approximately 75 percent of the Foundation’s annual grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations related to Christian Science, including camps, churches, schools, Christian Science nursing facilities, collaboratives, the Christian Science Monitor, and other initiatives with shared Christian Science values.

Eligibility

If your non-profit organization is located in the United States, registered as a 501c(3) with the IRS, and supports the healing ministry of Christian Science, then your non-profit group may be considered for a grant from the Isabel Foundation.

Ineligibility

Although the Isabel Foundation greatly appreciates the work of Christian Science branch churches and wishes we could fund their projects, we are not able to fund Christian Science branch churches at this time.
