Overview

Purpose The Irving S. Sigal Global Mobility Awards for Postdoctoral Researchers aims to recognize and support international postdoctoral scholars conducting research outside of the United States in the field of chemistry. This award supports the attendance and abstract presentation at the ACS Fall Meeting. Description Awardees are expected to present their research at the ACS Fall Meeting. They will receive registration to the ACS Meeting and, typically, $3,000 to help offset some of the travel expenses associated with the meeting. The 2025 ACS Fall meeting will be held August 17 - 21 in Washington, DC.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Applicants must: Be conducting postdoctoral research in chemistry (all fields). Be non-United States citizens residing and conducting postdoctoral research outside the United States in the eligible region (see below) at the time of the application deadline. Have an abstract of their work submitted (and, ideally) accepted for presentation (oral or poster) at the ACS Fall meeting. Have not presented in person at an ACS meeting.Eligible region for ACS Fall 2025 Meeting is: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay Note: Eligible regions will rotate yearly.
