Summary

The IRSS Outstanding Postdoctoral Trainee Award, presented by the Society of Toxicology, recognizes exceptional contributions in inhalation or respiratory toxicology. Overview

IRSS Outstanding Postdoctoral Trainee Award The Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section (IRSS) of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) is now accepting applications for the Outstanding Postdoctoral Trainee Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize the outstanding contributions of postdoctoral trainees to the SOT Annual Meeting in the area of inhalation or respiratory toxicology. Awardees will receive an engraved plaque and a cash award of $500 during the IRSS business meeting at the annual SOT meeting.

Applicants for the Outstanding Postdoctoral Trainee Award must be members of the Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section.Each sponsor can only nominate one postdoctoral trainee for this award category.The applicant must be a current postdoctoral trainee. Submission of an abstract to the SOT Annual Meeting is also required.Applications will be reviewed for scientific merit and service will be considered as criteria for this award. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Must be members of the Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section.

Ineligibility

Note that recipients of an IRSS Outstanding Postdoctoral Trainee Award in the previous year disqualify the applicant for the current year.
