The Iris M. Balthaser Adam Scholarship Fund, established in 2014 by the Berks County Community Foundation, honors Iris M. Balthaser Adam, a dedicated teacher. The Iris M. Balthaser Adam Scholarship Fund was established at Berks County Community Foundation by her family in 2014 in memory of Iris, who passed away in 1991. Iris was a school teacher at Hamburg Area School District for 30 years.
