Iredell County COVID-19 Response Fund

Established in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this fund supported Iredell County nonprofits serving residents impacted by the pandemic, particularly those most vulnerable. STATUS: FULLY DISTRIBUTED - The fund has been fully distributed and is no longer accepting applications.

Original Purpose:

  • Support local nonprofit agencies addressing pandemic-related needs

  • Focus on vulnerable populations

  • Special emphasis on historically underserved areas of the county

  • Initial funding: $200,000 donation from Lowe's Home Improvement

  • Additional $50,000 in Lowe's grants to specific organizations
