Mission: The mission of The Iowa Center Loan Fund CDFI is to further community development by providing access to capital to Iowans starting or expanding a business who do not have access to traditional forms of financial assistance.

Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Partnership

The Loan Fund partners with local and national financial institutions to meet the needs of small business owners and achieve the goals of the Community Reinvestment Act (enacted by Congress in 1977). Many clients are referred by local financial institutions.

Impact Investments

The Loan Fund has sophisticated infrastructure and policies to receive impact investments from banks, which generate small guaranteed returns to investors while delivering significant impact for small business growth and community/economic development.
