Overview:
The MPC Foundation collaborates with MPC's Work Experience program to facilitate internship placements throughout Monterey County. The Foundation provides stipends to qualifying students so they can participate in valuable work-based learning experiences with non-profit organizations, government agencies, and small start-up businesses.

    Program Purpose

  • Support students' academic and career goals through work-based learning
  • Enable lower-income students to participate in unpaid internships
  • Allow students to pursue professional networking and skill-building opportunities instead of low-skill jobs
