The Houghton Trust is a company limited by guarantee, registered in England. It is also a Registered Charity. The Houghton Trust (see History) was established with the primary objective of promoting the extension of knowledge in the field of Avian Pathology, with particular reference to the UK, by the encouragement of scientific research and experimentation in all matters related to the pathology of the avian species, and the dissemination of such extended knowledge to the public.Eligibility
You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. In any three-year period, an applicant will be awarded no more than one grant. Applicants may be of any nationality, and undertaking the following, in countries other than their own:Attendance and participation in scientific meetings.Short visits to appropriate laboratories for discussions and/or learning specific techniques (maximum duration 14 days). Attendance at appropriate training courses (not exceeding 14 days). It is an absolute requirement that the grant will be used in furtherance of research on avian diseases.Ineligibility
