AICF is proud to sponsor the work of bright young scientists who perform groundbreaking research in the fields of cancer biology and treatment in competitive labs across the United States. To date, AICF has effectively launched the careers of 400 scientists who have been awarded 580 fellowships since the Program’s inception in 1983. AICF's call for applications usually opens in January and closes at the end of February. Eligible applications include proposals for basic or translational cancer research, as well as clinical research. Each fellowship is awarded for a one-year period. A few selected fellowships may be considered for a second year of funding.Eligibility
