Overview

District 6460 International Club Grant

Program Description: District 6460 set aside funds to enable clubs to support small projects of international Rotary clubs and develop club-to-club relationships with international partners.

Funding History:

  • 2023-24: $50,000 allocated ($25,000 in 2023-24 and $25,000 in 2024-25, plus any unused funds)
  • Geographic Scope: District 6460 clubs partnering with international clubs, districts, or Rotary organizations.

      Program Goals

    • Encourage D6460 clubs to develop club-to-club relationships with international clubs
    • Relationships may consist of periodic and ongoing communications and possibly joint club meetings
    • Hope is that relationships will lead to clubs identifying each other as Twin clubs
    • Facilitate Rotary Friendship Exchanges where members visit each other's communities

      Funding Requirements

    • D6460 clubs may apply for funding of up to $2,500 one time across the two-year period
    • Clubs with established or developing club-to-club relationships will be given priority for funding, but this is not a requirement

      Project Guidelines and Flexibility

    • Minimal restrictions: Choose an international club, district, or Rotary organization such as Heart to Heart that you trust
    • Help fund a project in another country
    • Documentation: Club can choose to require receipts or documentation from the international club regarding the grant, but the district will not have any post-funding documentation requirements

    • Must partner with an international club, district, or Rotary organization
