Intellia Therapeutics UNCF Scholarship Program Grant

The Intellia Therapeutics UNCF Scholarship Program, in partnership with the United Negro College Fund, aims to support students pursuing careers in life sciences. With a commitment to educational equity, this program offers scholarships to eligible students who demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75. By investing in future leaders, Intellia Therapeutics and UNCF continue to empower individuals and strengthen communities, ensuring that no mind is wasted.

We do this in three ways: By awarding more than 12,000 students scholarships, worth more than $65 million, each year. By providing financial support to 37 historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). And by serving as the nation’s leading advocate for the importance of minority education and community engagement.
To assist individuals wishing to pursue a career in the life sciences, Intellia Therapeutics has partnered with UNCF to offer the Intellia Therapeutics - UNCF Scholarship Program.

Eligibility

Have a required minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
Have a demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by their college or university
Be a student full time at UNCF Member Institution or any accredited 4-year HBCU.
Pursuing or majoring in life sciences which includes: biochemistry, biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, chemical and physical biology, cellular, molecular, and developmental biology, plant biology entomology and microbiology.Residency Status: U.S. national or permanent resident
