Overview

Institute for Gender Equality

Purpose: Address gender equality issues in the legal profession through educational programming for practitioners and firm decision-makers.

Background: Created in 2008 in response to a 2005 survey which showed little to no improvement in the area of gender equality in the local legal community compared with a similar survey conducted in 1990.
