Innovation Grant Program - Student Grants

Overview: UDEF supports students' big ideas through a student grant program. Since the pilot in 2022, the foundation has awarded grants to student projects that enhance the educational experience.

Geographic Scope: Upper Dublin School District, Pennsylvania

Eligibility: Students in Upper Dublin School District

Focus Areas: Student-led projects and innovations that align with the Foundation's mission of enhancing educational experiences and lifetime opportunities

Examples of Funded Projects:

  • 2023: "The Think Garden" - an outdoor classroom and learning space for Environmental Science Project Based Learning class

  • 2022: "The Hive" - an outdoor learning area at UDHS designed to restore, regenerate and connect
  • Review Schedule: Applications are reviewed in fall, winter, and spring
