Impact100 DC Annual Grant Program

Mission: An all-volunteer women's philanthropic organization dedicated to improving lives in the Greater Washington, DC area by collectively funding transformational grants to local nonprofit organizations.

Award Structure

• Primary Grant: $100,000 to one recipient organization
• Finalist Grants: $9,000-$15,500 to each of the four remaining finalists
• Total Award Pool: $136,000-$138,000+ (varies by membership size)
• Membership Contribution: $1,000 per member annually (100% goes to grants)
• Voting: Each member receives one vote for the grantee

Application Process

1. Check Eligibility

3. Application Review
- Five focus area committees and finance committee review proposals
- Committees narrow to one finalist per focus area (5 finalists total)

4. Finalist Announcement
- Five finalists announced (typically June)
- Each finalist represents one of the five focus areas

5. Member Vote
- All members vote at Annual Meeting (typically September)
- Winner receives $100,000 grant
- Remaining four finalists receive $9,000-$15,500 each
