Immediacy Grants

Overview: The Immediacy Grant Program provides direct financial support to families of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical workers who die or are critically injured in the line of duty.

Purpose

• Cover unanticipated expenses during a family's hour of greatest grief and highest need
• Provide immediate funds to help cover unexpected financial burdens
• Give families one less thing to worry about during tragic circumstances

Award Amount

• Up to $10,000 of direct financial support per grant

Eligibility

• Families of law enforcement officers who died or were critically injured in the line of duty
• Families of firefighters who died or were critically injured in the line of duty
• Families of emergency medical workers who died or were critically injured in the line of duty

Ongoing Support

The foundation also provides grants and serves as a fundraising mechanism for agencies offering long-term assistance to families of fallen first responders and military, including:
• Philadelphia FOP Survivors Fund
• South Jersey FOP Lodge 56
• Montgomery County Hero Fund
• Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund
• Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation
