Immediacy Grants
Overview: The Immediacy Grant Program provides direct financial support to families of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical workers who die or are critically injured in the line of duty.
- Cover unanticipated expenses during a family's hour of greatest grief and highest need
- Provide immediate funds to help cover unexpected financial burdens
- Give families one less thing to worry about during tragic circumstances
Purpose
- Up to $10,000 of direct financial support per grant
Award Amount
- Families of law enforcement officers who died or were critically injured in the line of duty
- Families of firefighters who died or were critically injured in the line of duty
- Families of emergency medical workers who died or were critically injured in the line of duty
