Focus Areas:

Emergency relief and direct services to communities stressed by the COVID-19 pandemic

Organizations offering relief and direct services on the front lines of COVID-19

Core operations support and long-term organizational survival

Eligible Service Categories:

Basic Needs and Emergency Services for low-income people in the Inland Empire (single organizations or coalitions)

- Food, shelter, health care, childcare, cash assistance

Capacity Building Assistance to nonprofits for financial management and planning

- Technical assistance for financial management, planning, restructuring, legal services
- Remote work and technology adaptation for single organizations or coalitions

Award Amounts:

Basic Needs and/or Emergency Services: Up to $20,000

Capacity Building/Technical Assistance: Up to $5,000

Remote work and technology adaptation: Up to $10,000

Background: Created to support nonprofit organizations providing emergency services such as food, shelter, cash assistance and health care during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The fund was designed to direct grants to organizations on the front lines of COVID-19 response and to aid organizations in continuing operations and supporting their survival through the crisis.
