Background: Created to support nonprofit organizations providing emergency services such as food, shelter, cash assistance and health care during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The fund was designed to direct grants to organizations on the front lines of COVID-19 response and to aid organizations in continuing operations and supporting their survival through the crisis.
