Our Mission Here at the Iowa Council of Foundations (ICoF), our calling is pretty simple. OUR MISSION: The ICoF strengthens, guides, and grows philanthropy in Iowa. OUR VISION: A vibrant philanthropic ecosystem contributing to a thriving Iowa. Idea Implementation Grant Funding for these grants will end with the end of the Lead Philanthropic Entity contract from the state, so applications are due June 16 and will be awarded shortly thereafter. Grants are expected to range from $250-$2,500 to support the foundation’s efforts to implement an idea cultivated, developed or re-energized during one of these sessions. The application process is competitive; all requests may not receive funding. Community foundations may submit multiple requests to implement multiple ideas so long as their total requests do not exceed $2,500. Those who are awarded funding will be required to complete a brief year-end report on the use of funds.
