Idea Grants

The Bexley Education Foundation awards grants to fund innovative educational initiatives and experiences that benefit Bexley students and staff.

Geographic Scope: Bexley, Ohio - Bexley Schools District

Recent Approved Grants (November 2025):

• $10,200 - Jazz Lab 2.0 STEAM experience for Montrose 5th grade students (partnership with A Tribe Called Jazz and Battelle)
• $3,542 - Digital piano for Montrose Music room
• $6,000 - Montague Workshop visit for elementary students
• $1,750 - Board games for 6th grade Hero's Journey curriculum
• $3,700 - Ceramic artist collaboration for high school art students

Recent Approved Grants (May 2025):

• $30,000 - Expansion of Allied Arts courses at Middle School (12 new courses)
• $60,000 ($30,000/year for 2 years) - Gifted credentialing for elementary teachers
• $12,000 - Kelly Starling Lyons author visit (R.L. Stine Creative Writing Endowment)
• $1,133 - Wit & Wisdom curriculum materials (Barbara and David Brandt Family Read for Life Endowment)

Recent Approved Grants (November 2024):

• $30,000 - Five model classrooms with audio/visual and technology enhancements
• $1,750 - Other initiatives
