This grant is aimed at those who have demonstrated financial need and are unable to cover basic expenses for at least two months, ensuring that members can sustain themselves during critical times.

Emergency Financial Assistance
Emergency Financial Assistance is available to eligible performing arts and entertainment professionals:

• In times of unexpected critical needTo assist towards basic living expenses such as health care, housing and utilities to prevent eviction or shut-offs
• Emergency Industry Slowdown Relief Grant:
• Provides assistance for members demonstrating financial hardship who are not able to meet their immediate basic needs.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a member currently in good standing or was in good standing on May 29, 2024. Verification of membership status must be included in the application. The applicant must demonstrate a documented need for emergency financial assistance, showing the inability to cover basic expenses for at least two months.Members who received previous Emergency Work Slowdown grants are eligible for a new grant.
