IADR Gold Medal Award

Program Overview
The highest recognition bestowed by IADR. Presented to recognize distinguished lifetime achievement in dental research and leadership that broadly impacts science, health research, or population health.

Award Criteria

  • Recipient must be a previous recipient of an IADR Distinguished Scientist Award (in any of the 17 categories)

  • Must have built on original scientific accomplishments to more broadly impact science, health research, or population health through:

  • - Expansion of scientific field of inquiry into other disciplines
    - Higher administrative positions in academia, government, non-profit, or private industry
    - Combination of the above

  • Previous IADR Distinguished Scientist Award recipients

  • Demonstrated exceptional research accomplishment and leadership

  • International researchers welcome
  • Recognition

  • Medal and formal recognition

  • Recipient recognized during IADR General Session Opening Ceremonies
