Hunger Relief Grant Program

The Hunger Relief Grant Program, established by the Foundation for MetroWest, aims to combat food insecurity across more than 30 communities in the MetroWest region. By providing grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, the program supports local nonprofits that address systemic barriers to food access. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and serve specific MetroWest towns, ensuring that all residents can achieve food security and eliminate hunger.

The Foundation will be providing general operating grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Have 501(c)(3) tax status as a registered nonprofit organization OR have an eligible fiscal sponsor

Not discriminate in the hiring of staff or the provision of services on the basis of race, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or disability
Are based in and/or serve one or more of the following MetroWest cities/towns: Acton, Ashland, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Dedham, Dover, Framingham, Harvard, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lexington, Lincoln, Marlborough, Maynard, Medfield, Medway, Milford, Millis, Natick, Needham, Sherborn, Southborough, Stow, Sudbury, Walpole, Waltham, Wayland, Wellesley, Westborough, Weston, Westwood
