The foundation prioritizes specific project funding over general support and does not accept multiple requests from the same organization within a calendar year.

While the Foundation is open to considering any worthy project that meets its basic guidelines, it concentrates its grant-making in the following areas:

The Foundation recognizes that non-profit organizations serving the communities range in size from small grassroots groups to large institutions. To facilitate the grant application process, the Foundation has developed a streamlined process for requests up to $1,000 and a more formal application for requests over $1,000.

Eligibility

Organizations must be recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under section 501(c)3 and may submit only one request for support of any kind during one calendar year.

Ineligibility

The Foundation will not entertain separate requests during the year for fundraising events, conferences, or other special events to benefit the organization. As a practice, the Foundation does not ordinarily contribute to the following:

• Individuals Political Organizations
• Debt Liquidation
• Religious groups for sectarian purposes
