Honorary Auxiliary Scholarship Program

The Saint Francis Foundation awards scholarships to support students pursuing careers in the health care field.

Background: Since 2002, the program has awarded over 55 scholarships totaling more than $85,000 to support health care education.

Geographic Scope: San Francisco, CA (with focus on Tenderloin/Nob Hill communities)

Eligibility:

• Hospital employees and volunteers
• Students pursuing careers in health care (nursing, medicine, palliative care, etc.)
• Based on financial need
• Commitment to serving Tenderloin/Nob Hill communities in San Francisco

Selection Process: Three past presidents of the Auxiliary, Foundation staff, and board members participate in the selection process.
