Hometown Partners Giving Circle Grant Program

The Hometown Partners Giving Circle Grant Program aims to strengthen communities in Aurora, Marionville, and Verona by fully funding impactful projects. The program, managed by the Aurora Area Community Foundation, invites nonprofit organizations to submit proposals. Eligible applicants include IRS-approved entities that serve the local area and can attend a check presentation on May 17, 2025. Grant submissions are accepted from March 17 to April 11, 2025, fostering collaboration and community enhancement.

Grant decisions for this program are made by members of the Hometown Partners, which falls under the Aurora Area Community Foundation.
The Hometown Partners Giving Circle is excited to award one grant that addresses priority needs by fully funding a single project that impacts the Aurora, Marionville, and Verona area. Grant proposals are accepted according to an announced timetable, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available.

Eligibility

Nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches) are eligible to apply.Applicants who serve Aurora, Marionville, and Verona area are encouraged to apply.Must be able to attend the check presentation on May 17, 2025, at 5pm at the Aurora Area Chamber of Commerce banquet.

Ineligibility

Grantees must not, in the use of CFO grant funds, discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status either in its employment practices or in its policies and procedures concerning access to services.
