Home Depot Foundation's Path to Pro Scholarship

The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lives of U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $550 million in veteran causes and improved more than 65,000 veteran homes and facilities. The Foundation has pledged to invest $750 million in veteran causes by 2030 and $50 million in training the next generation of skilled tradespeople through the Path to Pro program.
Path to Pro

The Home Depot and The Home Depot Foundation are committed to educating more people in the skilled trades and helping them find careers in the home improvement industry through our Path to Pro program. Since the program’s inception, the Foundation’s trades-focused partnerships have trained more than 44,000 participants and introduced more than 316,000 people to the skilled trades, surpassing its commitment to train 20,000 people six years ahead of schedule.

Additionally, the company has also launched several new initiatives. From geotargeted online resources and entry-level certificates to advanced training, and even a networking platform with the company's Pro customers, people now have even more opportunity to pursue their career journey in trades from start to finish.

• To be considered, you must:
  • Be a high school senior, high school graduate or have a GED equivalent.
  • Plan to enroll, or be enrolled within 1 year, in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school or institution (i.e. technical/vocational school, community college or training center) in the United States.
  • Programs/Career Paths: Carpentry, Construction Management, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing.

Ineligibility

• You must not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot.
