Herbert Scott Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Herbert Scott Memorial Scholarship, established by The Dayton Foundation in 2016, supports graduating African-American seniors from Dayton Public Schools who are in foster care or have aged out. This scholarship aims to provide educational opportunities by funding students accepted into accredited technical schools, community colleges, or universities. This scholarship was established in 2016 for graduating Dayton Public School seniors who are currently in foster care or have aged out of foster care.

Be a graduating African-American senior from Dayton Public Schools,Be currently in foster care or have aged out of foster care, andBe accepted or currently attending an accredited technical school, junior college, community college or four-year college or university.
