Herbert C. Kelman Fellowships Herbert C. Kelman Fellowships of $3,000–4,000 are awarded for research focusing upon the causes, prevention, or resolution of international or ethnic conflicts, especially the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and/or reconciliation between communities within and across states with a history of protracted violent conflict. Funding has been provided by the family of Professor Herbert C. Kelman, a beloved longtime member of the Weatherhead Center, who devoted much of his career to peacebuilding and conflict resolution. These grants will be awarded to strong and qualified applicants of our pre- and mid-dissertation grants.
